About

Since 2021, the Green Goodbyes program has provided a second chance for household items that Georgia Tech students may not want to keep when moving out of their dorm rooms or apartments. Initially, donations were only collected during spring move-out and redistributed to students at an event at fall move-in. The Green Goodbyes store opened in fall 2024 making it easier for students to access gently used items throughout the year.
